Department of Kayachikitsa is very active department always taking on efforts to give best of knowledge to our Student & handling well OPD and IPD patients and giving best quality of Ayurvedic treatment to patients. Department always takes various medical and health checkup camps to the perifery and nearby villages and always awares patients about ayurvedic line & treatment and encouraging them for ayurvedic treatment Department is always stuck up with social, College, University and cultural activities too Dr. Prakash Kale has delivered Lecture on Ayurved and Panch karma treatment at Kolhapur FM Radio.
Every month department activity includes debate on Particular disease, seminars and monthly camps. Kaychikitsa department has very good role in NSS Camp taken every year for Students specifically selected patients are shown for clinical knowledge and the case is discussed with interaction with students. Department is having 40 to 50 Patient OPD and almost 10 to 15 Patient IPD. Students are always encouraged to take part in national, international Seminars, workshop and other academic activity. Dr. Prakash Anant Kale M.D. Kayachikitsa (Gold Medalist) in working as Professor and head of department and founder member staff of the college working since 1993 Dr. Ranjeet Prataprao Patil M.D. Kayachikitsa is working as a reader since long having good active and academic work . Dr, Dhananjay Khot was working as a lecturer in the department just left the job and Dr. Sheetal Abhijit Shelke Joined department. Mr. Sambhaji Patil is working as a peon in the department and very active person.
All staff member are very active and performing their duties best of their knowledge. College Principal Dr. Vinod Patil Sir, and hospital R.M.O. Dr. B.R. Patil Sir always give guidance to our department and hospital too. Pricipal Dr. Vinod Patil sir always gives support to all our social, cultural, hospital and College activity.
